true true, and when i retire in 20 years theyll be paying for 90% of that too...so i guess they do deserver more credit than i give 'em :lol:

i could have sworn the columbian own-goal thing happened in '98.

Actually all the dates that have been said about the own goal are wrong.
It happened in the 94 world cup which was in the USA and it happened against the USA Mens team , the 98 world cup was in France, and 2002 was in South Korea/Japan.

no no duece...this was an own goal by a columbian (i think) national player...after the game he was killed in the parking lot. That's how violent some of these fans are.
