I'd agree with all the class acts listed if you only removed Derek Jeter from that list. What has Jeter ever done for the community or kids or anything. He denied a student of my mom's an autograph this weekend in Baltimore because "I'm tired of signing these things today."

Ken Griffey Jr., so far as any of us know, hasn't taken steroids. And while we can never be totally sure of anybody, with baseball being in its current state, I doubt that he does. I think that he is a class act, and perhaps, with some luck, he'll at least get up there enough to pass Bonds.

Jr. is the man, hopefully he can string together a dozen or so injury free years to make a valliant chase at it. I like Bonds, but Griffey is even more so of a personal favorite of mine.

but i do agree jr is worthy of the record he has kinda gotten overshadowed by the others like bonds and sosa!
