Great Moments in the Bush 43 Presidency

Post by foghorn »

Namely, the omnipresent news film footage this week of W and the clown prince of Saudi Arabia smooching and tiptoeing hand in hand through the bluebonnets. Can you spell H-U-R-L?

What makes me ralph is the fact that no matter how much the Saudi's agree to boost their production, we DO NOT HAVE THE REFINERY CAPACITY to process oil into fuel. There hasn't been a new refinery built in this country in the last 25 to 30 years. With the prevailing NIMBY (not in my back yard) attitude of people everywhere to have noise and smokestacks next to them, and the threat of air and water pollution hazards, who could blame them? I'm an advocate for more development of cleaner power sources, corn alchohol, nuclear, wind, hydrogen. Then we can tell these Arabs to use their oil for anal lube.

As long as there's people in this country making billions of dollars off that oil, it doesn't matter what alternative sources we have.

Yeah, but the US would be the number one market for the anal lube because we've been taking it in the you know where from the Mideast for a long time, and it ain't gonna change no matter what W says about finding and using alternative energy sources.

Hey, there's a big difference in talking and doing. I don't see much action from W, but I hear a lot of bull**** about "alternative sources". I'm sure it's on his list as a top priority to put his friends out of business.
