yes i truly think that bedford would have walked away with the title had marshall and perkins been there especially marshall cuz you figure his jump would have gotten at least 2nd so theres like 8 points and the 200m he would have gotten like 2nd so theres another 8 and thats not counting him being in the 4x400 relay that could have won and his other events such as 400m run would have been some points i would say!

plus when bedford would have scored more the other teams would have went down at the smae time making it easier to get 1st!

but now that proms out of the way!!! haha

they could get a state title if they have all there horses that are supposed to make states perform like they can! such as harris's and marshall!

The WCCM brings back good memories for me...I was the 800m champ and runner-up in the 3200m in class AA in 1986. I ran around 2:00 for 800m and came back an hour later and ran in the low 10's for 3200m.

Yeah, I meant Bowling Brook got 2nd with 77 only one point ahead of Bedford.

It may have been closer, but it wasnt a lock for Bedford to win if Marshall had been there. (Perkins was there for the relay and would have had to run pretty amazing to place in the 800) He would have been third (going from his PR) in the triple but he would have been taking the place of Daou so there goes those points. The 200 could have got him a second but not a lock for that either. They already won the 4X1 and they could have won the 4X4 possibly with him. My calculations put that at 84-83 ECC still. Definately a close one and you can only go with specualtions on current PR's. Either way, nice job by the Bedford squad. I know the feeling of ECC coming out of nowhere with a stacked team to steal away a title. Also happened in 1997.

yeah well your right there jumper it would have been a close meet no matter what but bedford especially marshall could have had a good day considering he hasn't been there all year and still has time to get better this season but oh well theres always next year!!!

just hope bedford can look past this and concentrate on more titles and stuff especially if they are trying to take a stab at the state title!!!

Did anyone happen to hear how good Titan was in the day?
I remember one time he beat the girls team all by himself. Another time at the WCC's......
Sounds like Ernie Cox's song 'Precious Memories'

Sorry but I had to jab at you Titan

titan was a beast back in the day!!!

ran a 400m in like 49 seconds in high school, a 4:40 mile only ran it once, ran an 800m in 1:59 if i can remember right!

plus he sprinted! which was his stronger suit of running believe it or not!

he was a beast though he ended up winning titles and stuff even at wcc's!
