Bozo the Clown Halloween sales SKYROCKET

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

I'm not going to be able to post much this summer because I'm back in the area, but I did read something pretty great. LionPride said exactly what I knew he'd say, which is "Freedom comes with a price." Okay. Now, for the time being, let's pretend like it's okay to invade another country whenever you, as an outsider, don't like what is happening there, and after the people themselves in said country did nothing to really attempt to make it better for THEMSELVES. So let's pretend like it's okay to do that. So, to do that, you need people back home who support your plan and your war. Right? Because if you don't, there will be severe turmoil, you may not get re-elected, you may have to invent voting tallies in areas where more people vote for you than there are people living there, may need to coincidentally use lackluster machines in places where your brother is the governor, etc. You get my drift. See, the problem is, the vast, vast, vast, vast majority of those people back home not only overlook the responsibility of the Iraqi people, but they also overlook their OWN personal responsiblity. Many of these people may even say things like, "All homeless people need to get a job," "all kids who get knocked up need to have that baby," etc., etc., etc. That would leave one believing that those people are all-about personal responsibilty, right? It couldn't be more WRONG than that. Not only do these people b*tch and complain about abortion, and then never take the inititive to go and adopt children, even when we all know they can afford it, but they also want no part in the fighting taking place between our troops and the Iraqi rebels. How about, instead of crying your little eyes out, you actually stand up and do something about it? Go and adopt kids. Show your fellow peeps how easy it is. USE YOURSELF AS AN EXAMPLE IN YOUR ARGUMENTS. How many of you Bozos have started a petition to increase the military age limit? NONE. And all of you are over the limit. That sounds pretty fishy to me. So it's okay for me or DC or anyone else to get drafted to fight in YOUR war, a war we don't agree with. Why not petition to have the military open up it's age limits? How about just in time of crisis, like now? How many of you Bozos have stood in front of the White House saying, "Look I know I'm 40 years old, but I want to save Iraq"? None of you have. You all know there are thousands of you who are under the age of 80 and can still carry a gun. You're not too stupid that you can't learn how to carry-on in a firefight. Enough of the talk, I'm sick of it. If you agree with the war, go fight it. But this starts slowly. Start a petition to increase the age limits, especially for volunteers. Think of how much more respect the opposition in the US would have for you if you actually started walking the walk. I'd love to see it. But it will absolutely never happen. Because you don't have the guts to back up your words. Go to Iraq.

Didn't you say on another topic that Germany at the end of WWII was being defended by boys and old men, and how Germany didn't stand a chance with all the young men gone? Then why would WE send "older" men to Iraq to fight? Older guys carrying guns is great for defending your own country from invasion, but not for this kind of fight.....Also there are waiting lines throughout the country for adopting children. So much so that people in the U.S. are adopting foreign children, such as those from Peru, Vietnam, etc.

What percentage of men were between the ages 18 and 35 in Germany prior to World War Two? Bloody hell Moldo, there are people in their 40s in much better physical condition then me, and we all know their mental condition is better then mine due to their age. Are they all against the war? The main reason I am against the draft in any circumstance is because it forces someone to do something against their will. If people really wanted to fight or they deem it necessary, they will join the military. I, personally, could never deem a war just enough to fight for unless there are invaders on our shores. Unless this happened, I could never fight in a war. I expect to get flamed for this, but know it is due to my beliefs, both in God and humanity, that I could not fight in a War. Sorry. If you could, good for you. Go do it and leave me the hell alone.

maybe you can doyour part too. as a liberal who believes in sexual freedom maybe you could not go out this weekend and look for some babe to have sexual relations with. maybe you could stop the spread of infectious diseases by get this.....stop having sex outside of the boundries that GOD has set up. but instead you liberals choose to hound the government for money crying we are victims!!! why should any of us fork over money because people in africa and san fransisco have no self control and are taken by every sexual vice known to man.... so do your part you stinking liberals and this weekend when everbody else is out having a "good" time. you can just kick it and stop the spread of std's and aids do your part>!!!!

This is a good place to bring up the idea of some sort of mandatory service to and for your country for ALL who turn say 18 or are just getting out of HS. Now don't get all hyper just yet.....This service wouldn't have to be just military.....Israel is a prime example. But if you didn't want to carry a weapon, there would be non-combat duty on the sidelines, maybe as supply help or quartermaster training. Maybe in construction, or something else similar, but you would still be doing your duty for your country and government, besides getting some training that might steer you to a good job when your 2 years plus or minus are up. This would also ease the regular armed forces recruit deficit. This system would need some tweaking, but it sure would beat having all you "conscientious objectors" grabbing your mukluks and toocks and hi-tailing it for the Northwest Territories.

I remember when I was very small, we were a big family, and we were so poor..... the lady NEXT DOOR had us!! LOL

DCP said, "If people really wanted to fight or they deem it necessary, they will join the military". Then why all the hullaballoo over casualties in Iraq. No one was drafted. They all knew what was possible when they joined up. Maybe topics like The Nightmare Continues shouldn't have to be written!!

By the way, do you really need "the Clown" after BOZO? Are we going to confuse it with BOZO the plumber? Or BOZO the insurance agent?

I agree with DC that the draft should only come up in the event of people on our shores. Signing people up to go to another country that we have nothing to do with doesn't make sense. It isn't America's job to clean up everybody elses messes. We can't help it that there are evil people in the world. If they aren't somebody that poses an immediate threat *cough* Korea *cough cough* we shouldn't waaste our resources and the precious lives of American soldiers.
