Colby Mock placed 5th in the long jump w/ a 21'6. Kanuch had 2nd with 21'10 i think. Adam Henderson of ridge also placed in the discus. He got 8th with 146 i believe. Troy got 3rd in the 300's. The winner ran a 38.1(not sure exactly). Bedfords 4x1 got 6th there time was in the 44's. And ridge still has ben way competing in the high jump.

Ben Way picked up a solid 5th place finish in the high jump with a jump of 6'4". Ifert from SF got second; he jumped 6'6". Pretty good weekend for the county and D5 in general. Windber's Nate Kiss took home gold in the 110s. Harris got 3rd and Lowery got 4th in the 300s.

Let's give it up(applause) for distict 5 in track and field. Great job everyone.Three girls medaled from a 3rd to a 7th.The boys had a super medal count with a total of 11 medals. Great strides for the district and bedford county. Bedford county took home a total of 6(3CRHS,3BEDFORD).Great job and remember tommorow is the start of the next season.

well the district 5 is starting to get really good and harder to make it to states in. Moser di actually get 2nd in the high with a high jump of 5'4". I think the district should soon be allowed to take the top 2 in each event to states considering that some of the people who did good in states didnt actually win district like ifert, kiss, and so on.

My bad on Moser she got second, little slip of the keyboard there. She was seeded higher at districts though, I believe her and Nist of Rockwood were both top seeds at 5'3".Seeds are a joke anyway, ask the 21st seed in the AA boys long jump this year about seeds.

The state champ in the long jump from Aliquippa. Won it on his last jump. And the state record in the triple is 49-4. If Kanuch would have hit the board, he would have been real close. And no matter how well D5 does, they most likely wont get a 2nd qualifier unless the District size grows.

wow to be the 21st seed and then to come back and win it in a field like that is amazing so the quips really did deserve and earn the title then!
