Well, I'm a biology major in college, and one of the things I learned there were the 4 identifying features of a chordate (Phylum Chordota). For 100 points, name those 4 features.

Famous poet Robert Frost was invited to read a poem for a new President's inaugeration. For 40 points, which president was it?

I'm selfish with my points, but just for fun......El Moldo may be the only person to get this, but his AOL is screwed up for now. In the old Walt Disney Presents, with Guy Williams as ZORRO, what was the name of his MUTE sidekick: was it A. Arturo, B. Bernardo, C. Chico, D. Diego, or E. Pancho?

flea, whenever the battle of Tripoli was fought...1800's is my guess, personally i dont really have a clue and dont really feel like looking it up either. but in case you were wondering what the mameluke sword is, it is the sword that is carried by Marine Corps officers for ceremonies and what not. so it isnt still "used" as a weapon, but it is in fact the oldest weapon authorized to "use" in the military

For 500 points, I would like a description of what happened at the battle (or bombardment) of Tripoli.

Not necessarily. The Marines weren't even in existence yet, at least nowhere near the form that they have taken today...

the Marines were established in 1775 my friend, so im sorry but your wrong, the Marines WERE in existence in Tripoli...hence the line in the Marines Hymn..."From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of TRIPOLI"

dont ever argue me when it comes to my beloved Corps, i will shut you down faster than the berlin chick can run away screaming at the mere sight of me!
