Will the Yankees Make the playoffs???

The Yankees have been up and down all year, and right now they are currently one or two games under .500 after losing a bunch in a row. With the most expensive roster that money can buy, and players that may not be worth that much, can the Yankees pull it together and make a playoff run? It seems they make it there almost every year, but will this year be the exception? What do you think?

come on...of course the yankees will make the playoffs. yea theyre up and down right now, but they still are the YANKEES, they will turn it around and make a great run for the series...by talent there really isnt a team in baseball that can compete with the Yankees

Gee, I don't know - I thought the BoSox did that last year.

I could be wrong though.

Even so, unfortunately, my bet is that the Yanks will make the playoffs.

the bosox did what? geeze, if your gonna challenge my post atleast explain what your talking about. I didnt say the yankees couldnt be beat by anyone...I said there is no team that has amassed the amount of talent that the yankees have. yes, the bosox outplayed the yankees last year, but theyre still not more talented, and those bosox arent looking much better than the yankees at all...why arent we talking about the fact that it is very possible the sox wont make the playoffs. they are, in fact, the defending world series champions...

if 205 million dollars in talent gets you a 28-30 record, i'd spend the little money on the pirates, who are 27-30. It's pathetic that they have all that talent and can't manage to be WELL over .500 at this point in the season. No, the Yankees are way to up and down, a consistant team makes the playoffs, this year will be the first in a long time that no pinstripes will be in the postseason...
