Coleman a Trojan?
Re: Coleman a Trojan?
Maybe his "punishment" was to stay there, continue to take religion classes, have to wear a tie all day long, sell $500 dollars worth of ads for the football program, and pay $4,800 for the privilege to do so. NO ONE should be punished that much!!!!

This needs to be said. Just who is it that always throws out the "R" word? If it's a Cauc. American, he just screwed up. If it's an African-American, the first thing out of their mouths is it was a racial thing. Go ahead, hit me with the dreaded penalty thingee. It is worth it.

Username: I accept any attempt at an apology, even if you say you were just "messin" with me. But it was YOU that brought up the controversial point of my last response. Can you not see, that even if you think you are "just messin around" with an off-hand comment like that, how people of both persuasions, Caucasian and Afro-American, could take offense, because it is still a serious matter, even in this highly liberal day and age. Believe me, I have 'black' friends, too. I have been around as much diversification as anyone, either in my military days, on the jobs I've had, or in my leisure times. But sometimes little remarks such as yours while not really meant to provoke anger, by you, have exactly that effect on us crackers. It is no different than if I, a Protestant, say a flippant remark about the Catholics. Somewhere, somehow, somebody will get pissed off at me, even though I meant no serious harm and maybe thought I was just being "cute" or humorous. Getting back, if it was I that made that sort of a racial comment, wouldn't you be one of the first looking to cut me long, deep, and continuously? By rights, I should have enough common sense to know better than to say or act like that, because I as a responsible adult should know better than to let my emotions engage my mouth before my brain. Sorry if this seemed a little long. Peace out.

We can move on now.
Re: Coleman a Trojan?
You know "pale rider" (takes me back to the cats with sheets on horses), as a "not-so-pale rider" I immediately took offense to your post about coleman and wadley not paying tuition, not so much whether or not it was true, but because it was immediately (solely on the basis of their race and non-catholicity) taken as true by you. If X student from Lorain boro or Summerhill or Somerset attends BMc, we don't even inquire into the financial situation that brought them there. It's great that BMc has scholarships--if they are not solely use for athletic purposes, but we (at least you) have no knowledge of the financial situations of Wadley and Coleman, and therefore should shut your mouth about such.
Re: Coleman a Trojan?
I think non-catholics (of whatever race) playing sports at parochial schools should have to prove that they are not going there on a scholarship. If they did this, there would be NO speculation that they are going there for athletic reasons, which is against the rules of the PIAA. Like Paterno's salary, what is there to hide?????
