All of these hand written letters are making me sick.
I can understand your frustration with your beloved Shaler Titans, but your desparation has become way to apparent.
The way to get good players is to go out and talk to them. I know of a guy in Kenya that wants to come to PSU real bad. I think you should go talk to him personally. You need some time away from all of us blue and white faithful.
While your at it, why don't you see if they have any good A.D.'s in Kenya that you can model yourself after.
I'll bet they would even be interested in how the the Big Least invented football. Maybe PITT could give you some pointers in your travels??
How about 100 hand written letters on how you overcame your "little-man syndrome" to Graham Spanier? I'm sure those guys in Kenya would appreciate that!!
And in your travels to Kenya, don't forget to write ole JoePa 100 hand written letters letting him know how how great it is to be from Happy Valley,because PSU rules Pennsylvania.

Hey, I didn't know you lived in Tyrone...but I would like to pick up a few pointers on that Tyrone offense from you. I heard that your linebackers are your best offense...That's a lot like us. Go beat up on Bellefonte and Bald Eagle and Huntingdon some more...That'd kind of be like us playing Illini and Northwestern every week. No handwritten letters for you, Shorty, until you play some real teams.

I know where Shaler is, I passed right through there when I was recruiting Lavar. He was the cleanest player and the best LB I ever coached. I always liked the way he hit, especially when he used to whack the punter from the other team when the officials weren't looking. That by was first class all the way.

I used to recruit Tyrone hard, but then the paper mill closed and all the good athletes moved to State "Coolege", which is the coolest place to be on Earth. State College and Tyrone are a lot alike...They're both in a valley and they both have a peculiar smell.

Recruiting rankings must be really overrated! You have to look no further than your beloved Nittany Lions. They have a top 20 recruiting class every year, yet they have a sub .500 record over the past 5 seasons.

So it must be one of two things. #1 your coaching staff stinks. #2 your classes are way overrated.

JoePa better watch out, because Wannstedt is getting into some schools to recruit that Harris couldn't even smell. Mark my words, Joe will lose the recruiting battle to Wannstedt. That is another reason he won't play Pitt. Because when Pitt shows again that they are better on the football field, the floodgates will open.

Shouldn't PSU's #16 recruiting class in 2002 and #12 recruiting class in 2004 (Better than this years #25) translate in to top 20 ON THE FIELD if the staff was doing their job. They miss the true nuts and bolts of their success, Sandusky and Ganter. Pitt has never outrecruited Penn State...till the Wanndstedt era that is.
