Re: Boost for Pitt
He's just another average PSU fan. Love their football, can't take their basketball. Whereas the average Pitt fan supports BOTH sports.

If it isn't, so what. What's that have to do with fan support for football AND basketball? If PSU men's basketball doesn't soon start having better attendance, revenue from football may have to include THAT sport too. I'm sure at Pitt, basketball is at least self-supporting.

So the athletic director at Penn State is happy that his men's basketball team is playing in an empty Bryce Jordon Center, just as long as football is paying for it's support. Who need B-Ball fans anyway.
Heaven&Hoops,
I've been a duke fan for as long as I've watched college basketball. My dad has always been a fan, and so have I. Just like PSU football and the Steelers. 9 times out of 10, whoever your parent's root for, especially the father, is who you will turn out rooting for. Ask Bison1 how long i've been a Duke fan.

Hey, I don't own any PSU basketball shirts or really any other college bball team shirts either. What if you just like football a lot? Doesn't mean you want the lacrosse team to lose every game, but you really don't care. But I guess it's all in how you perceive it.
