I figured you'd have something bad to say about him D. Good thing it's all in good fun!
Sweed may need to step in, but not for Ward. Washington is a FA this upcoming off season. IF the Steelers truly believe in Sweed like they showed they did by drafting him last year, they'll toss Nate a little cash and if he denies it, in step's Sweed.

You know it's all in good fun, ham. There's no argument from me that he's a great player. Sweed had a very difficult freshman year for Texas, too. I know it's easy to give up on a guy, but I wouldn't do that at this point in time. I know ham hasn't done it, but I have heard a lot of other Steeler fans do it. He may not be a Hall of Famer, but I think he has a bright future ahead. I think if he can find regular playing time; you guys will fall in love with the guy.

not much subjectivity here.....just catch the ball dude; reports from early in training camp on indicated he has issues in this area....difficult when one is a wr!

He has issues in that area because of an injury to his wrist in his Senior season. He was supposedly healthy this season, but clearly he wasn't. I have seen him play his whole career and he never dropped passes like the ones he did this year. Either his wrist will never get healthy and he will be a bust or you guys will get to see a really talented receiver over the next 5-10 years.
