Wait, in your side by side comparison, it seemed pretty close. It didn't really seem like you were giving Johnstown such a big endorsement..so what is it?? Cooper is going to keep it close because he's just that good --especially when compared to Simon (yes, that sentence is dripping with sarcasm).

I've spent so much time following all the chatter on here and never really felt motivated to post before. After seeing all the complaints because lack of posts lately regarding local games, I now feel motivated by this topic. Crimson, did you see the McCort-Richalnd game? Especially the second half. That game was lost solely because of the awful qb skills Cooper dislplayed in the second half. The waterboy probably could have thrown more effectively than he did. Comparing Cooper to Simon is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of, and I am hoping you only used their names in the same sentence because they are playing each other this week, not because their skills are even remotely in the same league. We can re-visit this topic Friday night around 10:00 when Coooper is wondering what really happened in the game.

As a JHS fan it embarrasses me to hear other JHS fans talk like this. However I suppose each team has its idiot supporters. So unnecessary to talk about anyone student-athlete like this. I guarantee that Cooper is a better QB than you are.

Not an idiot. I was just addressing Crimson's head-to-head comparison of Simon/Cooper. After watching them both play many, many times I felt that his comaprison needed to be addressed. Since I happened to see the previous 2 games that Cooper played, I felt justified in saying that I observed some of the worse passing skills I have ever seen in the 2nd half of the McCort/Richland game. Since I am a McCort alumin, it saddens me to have to point out the shortcomings of my own team's QB, but I couldn't let it slide...so who's the idiot for assuming I am a Johnstown fan?

and since I am new to the forum, I suppose you can bash me all you want, and then spend the next weeks complaining when people don't want to seem to engage in any kind of talk about the games. If someone plays poorly for a game, aren't we allowed to mention it? I am just asking so i don't break any more etiquette rules that I seemed to have missed when I joined. So it's okay for Crimson to say Simon doesn't have an arm, but I can't say Cooper couldn't make a passin a game? booohooo, go play AYSO soccer and get your feelings validated.

My opinion? Better athlete undoubtedly Simon, but better arm Cooper.

lets be honest simon is the best qb in the area, the have the best wide receiver core in the area and that andrews kid is the best wr in the area hands down!
