I actually saw Washington Irving's grave in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Tarrytown, New York. Andrew Carnegie is buried in the same cemetery. AND I have several Classic comic books. They ought to be worth something by now.

Billy Bob's tactics seem to be working much better for recruiting than the snoozing one.

Well actually there is an article on Pittblather.com Its a Pitt Blog, that does a nice job. As of May 1 since 2005....Pitt has never had more than 3 recruits. Paul Chryst has 4. So it the whole scheme of things, Pitt is doing better than the past Eight years.

Nobody thats a Pitt fan that actually understands college recruiting is too concerned.

I follow recruiting and the only Pitt recruit I have heard of has been Orndorff. The other 3 are pictured verballing below

The two linemen were receiving some Big Ten interest, actually heard Penn State was zoning in.

i follow Penn State recruiting all the time. Pay the premium boards and have never heard a thing about any of them let alone "zoning in" I think Miami of Ohio, Ohio, and Toledo might have been tho

"Offensive tackle Dan Samuelson (Plymouth, Ind.) has committed to Pittsburgh, multiple sources report. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, if Samuelson holds his commitment and signs with the Panthers in February 2013, it will be Pitt's first scholarship player from Indiana in over 40 years.

Minnesota, Illinois, Wake Forest, Bowling Green, Western Michigan and Wyoming also extended offers to the 6-foot-5, 295-pound prospect. Indiana, Boston College, Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa and Purdue were among the other programs showing interest."

“They have everything I wanted,” Reese said. “There are so many opportunities for me at Pitt, it’s just spectacular. I couldn’t find anything negative about it.”

Reese said Penn State may have been the original No. 1 school he was hoping to go to and he has visited Happy Valley many times.

“We didn’t think any school could top what they had,” Reese said, “but Pitt did. Somebody asked me if Penn State gave me an offer right now, would I take it? I’d have to say, no. I’m happy with my decision.”


ESPN says Penn State was expressing interest in Samuelsen, and Aaron Reese has visited Penn State numerous times. Maybe not zoning in, but its not like Penn State never heard of these guys.


Also to point out, the past two offensive linemen Wisconsin sent through the first round, were both former 3 Star recruits.
