Coach you brought something that I have been thinking about since the McCort/Baker scandal. How come no one on here has come out and said the same bad things about McCort that they did against PSU? Why haven't there been an outcry about the people who covered up that incident? How come people's heads are not being asked to rol?/ How come a public image cover-up haven't been suggested just to keep up the winning traditions of the Crusaders? Same crime not the same reaction why?

Where do you want me to start?????? Out of courtesy, and because it's local, I think most of us stayed away from the McCort thing. But if you want........

Love or hate Joe and Penn State. All people should read this section if the report. This is an important document. I'm reading this section now and it is must read stuff.

exactly my point. the NCAA overstepped their bound and got involved where it should not have been involved. if the criminal courts find their was a cover-up then you won't hear any more from me on this topic.

My whole thing is, the allegations happened in 1998 and 2001. Jerry was given all access to Penn State up until last October. What the Hell is that about? He was generally believed to be a good guy up until then. That's the criminal thing in my mind. Penn State treated him like a celebrated old coach, not the criminal he was. It is sick.

The NCAA was right to get involved. The University did everything they could to protect the football cash machine. The sanctions should have been worse.
