It looks like #32 for Homer starts to go crazy a few seconds after the ankle is let go by #51 from Portage. So whatever was done, looks to have been done not at the ankle but in the pile somewhere because he's punching #59 not #51.

Crimson, watch #59 closely...he comes in at the end of the play and lays on #34...he makes no attempt to get up, and NOBODY is on top of him. When #32 starts to throw his flury, #34 is trying to get up with #59 still hanging on to what appears to be his knee or ankle...there may not be conclusive video evidence here...but this is not instant replay in the NFL. Anybody with some common sense can clearly see what's going on here. Dirty play...plain and simple!

Yea I'm not sure what's being smoked in Washington, but I'm with Crimson on this one. He holds on to the ankle till his buddies get there and lets go after they are all piled on. 59 comes in for the old JOP "jump on pile" tackle, but as for being a dirty play. You guys are nuts. The HC kid freaking out seems like the major problem here. I'm sure the running back was in pain from being in the awkward position and the response was made from the kid being in pain. As far as being intentional, come on. This is rediculous. Just rage toward and already hated WestPAC Portage team. This video definitely doesn't show that there weren't have been bad intentions there, but it also clearly doesn't show that there were.

and 59 is laying on top of a pile of bodies. If you've ever played football, you would know that it is very difficult to get off of a pile. You don't see the kid grabbing the HC kids leg and trying to break it off. You see 59 laying on top squirming around trying to move. If he tries to push down to get up, you'd hound him for shoving. ANYONE with some COMMON SENSE can see that there's not much to see here unless it is already predetermined in one's mind.

Wait did you just say he held his ankle until all his teammates piled on top of him? Mind this is a good second or too after the whistle. We are the ones with common sense that you 3 lack. Im sure you think this isn't a dirty play either (this one I saw live)

Hank, I respect your opinion...but I still have to disagree. And for the record, I think Portage has an excellent team and program. I just find it hard to believe that #32 from Homer went ape sh@* for no reason. I played alot of football in my day, and I don't belive this can be simply explained away by #59 is just trying to get up from the pile but he can't...we will agree to disagree.

I see that he holds on to it.....what I don't see is the vigorous twisting. He's not doing the alligator roll. He just holds on for 3 seconds once everyone is on the pile. In a playoff game, dont blame him. Hold on until you are sure.

No matter what went on the Homer Center kid should be looking at a long suspension. I too played a lot of football and things get nasty. However there is never a time where a play should come to blows. Take it back to the huddle and you hit him on the next play. I looked and see the kid is a sophomore a few games on the sideline should make him think twice

I agree with this. As well as those two portage players. Its a two way street and when a school has video like this they should act not brush it off. Everyone involved should be suspended 3 games
