Page's last 3 seasons were at least 7-8 wins in each, with advancing to at least the 2nd round of playoffs in those years. Not sure why that statement was made the way it was.

The rumor is Don leaves when Cecere is done, they have been 5-6 the last two, so now with zero line and no playmakers, just there supersoph qb and the AAA being strong with Central and Tyrone where they are, and now Huntington in the mix, easily could end with four straight losing seasons, that is along way from the dominance that FH had in the past. Are we giving credit for getting in the Playoffs at 5-5, if so then yes they have made the Playoffs the last two years. All of these teams changing their offense ,going spread, everyone knows that when sept hits the green and gold will be double tight power I like it was the 1980's,
Change is not a bad thing, there comes a time when guys like Page,Bailey, Paterno and the like need to step away from the game ,.

Many retired teachers are working as substitute teachers. Retired superintendents have returned in interim capacities. Why would coaching be any different?

"The rumor is Don leaves........" How many years has this been said by countless prognosticators? I think it started when his son Derek graduated what, over a decade ago? Don will step away when Don is ready, not because the latest cupboard is a little on the lean side.

Gary Gouse from Portage retired some years ago. He does come back as a substitute teacher. Has ten or more wins for 200 career. Word is he may retire from coaching after he reaches milestone, probably next year..??
