The PIAA should step in and require the wpial  to play consolidation games  because it is impacting other Districts, Case in point  Saltsburg 6-1 must play Vincentian who was a number 2 seed , If they had a consolation game they would most likely be playing Union a legitimate 4 team and Vincentian would be a 3 team

It's not fair to the teams involved since they have to wait and see, and I agree it's not fair to the teams that have to play them either.

Just let the consolation bracket be on home courts, that's an easy way to handle the logistics.

Thinking about heading up to Richland High early and taking in the McCort game before the JHS one. Lemme know if you'll be around CG.

I'm not covering a game that day, I plan to watch both games at Richland.

The PIAA won't step in tell the WPIAL to do anything. The PIAA allows the districts to basically govern themselves and make their own rulings and then if things go astray then they reluctantly have to step in. This is why the "recruiting" or " transfer" policies are different from district to district. District V usually tries to prevent the public to public transfers if they have a suspicion of athletic purposes (the girls that went to Juniata Valley were denied entrance to a District V school so those girls left and 2 more from that school and ALL went to a District VI school) where as District VI doesn't do much to stop these moves. District V didn't do anything to prevent the move that happened in Fulton County this year. Maybe they felt that the move was more legit than the other moves. I don't know.

The D6 Committee sits silent when there is actionable evidence of recruiting, I would not expect them to do anything when the situation is more "murky" where you suspect that athletic purposes are at play, but cannot prove it.

I am surprised that WPIAL does not have consolation games from the revenue standpoint alone.

Should be some really great games out of these games Saturday. BG and McConnelsburg should be a good one if the right McConnelsburg team shows up.
