Hopefully piaa does a better job at neutral sites. Saltsburg shouldnt have to drive 71 to dubois to play Johnsonburg which is 36 miles.

Yeah that's a tough draw for Saltsburg. Should be a little more neutral. Obviously there are some logistics that don't always make things perfect. Punxsutawney looks a little more halfway, but their gym might not be nice or available.

All Games Tuesday and Wednesday have been moved to THURSDAY by the PIAA.  Quarterfinal Games will ALL be on SATURDAY.  Some adjustments in sites, times will probably be necessary.  Check the PIAA website.

Tru e  about the Punxsutawney gym being too small, the only problem so was the Dubois Gym  it seats 1250  saltsburg alone has a bigger fan base than 1250

 The PIAA  needs to work out a long-term deal to use the old IUP memorial fieldhouse ( not KCAC) 
 All three district 6 teams and  their opponents  are closer to IUP  Saltsburg would  have a travel advantage But no more than ECC  had at Dubois

I don't think they really have "deals" with preliminary sites. Most playoff games are at high schools until later rounds, with the exception of UPJ, because District 5 doesn't have another gym.

IUP may not be available, that could be it as well.

I am not talking about committing to games but negotiate a better price for the old field house ,IUP is a central location for most quarter final games In fact is IUP is the geographical center of Western Pennsylvania
