I’m gonna have to agree with Konjo here. Same reason Kansas doesn’t play the shockers every year. If they win they were supposed to, but if they lose they are a bad team. It couldn’t possibly be they are just better that year.

7 wins vs teams over .500 is more than any other team in entire top 25 and includes a win over the #6 team in the country. UCF has only played 3 teams that are currently .500 or better. Clemson will decide their own fate with remaining schedule.

Memphis is artificially ranked because they play in a garbage conference too.  What makes P5 conferences so great is multiple things:  1) they have a lot more talent. 2) Road games are played in front of true hostile crowds of 70,000+ people in most cases. 3) the coaching staffs usually have multiple coaches making 7 figures plus.  So you are getting schemed against by some of the most talented football coaches in the world. 4) Every week you have an opponent that CAN beat you.  The talent gap between even a Rutgers and Maine is quite immense. Rutgers could upset a Michigan or Penn State if everything lines up in their favor.  FIU isn't going to. 5) The grueling schedule leads to injuries and the inability to recover.  When you are playing Syracuse on the road, you would love to give your gimpy QB a week to recover his ailing ankle.  But if you do that, you probably lose the game. Now if you are playing Austin Peay and Maine the next 2 weeks, let him get healthy. 6) Depth.  Nearly every player on a power 5 roster was at least a higher rated 2* recruit.  The majority of the players are 3* or more.  So when someone gets hurt or needs a breather, they have another talented player hitting the field.  I'm willing to bet that Ohio State has more 4* recruits on their roster than the entire American Conference combined.

Syracuse is probably 7-4 in the AAC not 4-7 like they are in the ACC. So that's the type of team UCF is playing week in and week out.

Im not denying AAC is weaker. But undefeated is still undefeated. Clemson lost to a weak ACC team, ohio state was blown out by iowa, and wisconsin hasnt beaten any ranked team higher than UCFs ranked win.

Yes, but you keep ignoring the fact that 9 of UCFs games are against atrociously garbage opponents. Like laughable opponents who we don’t even know the mascot for. So they have won 3 games worth a darn at this point in the season. Wisconsin has won 9 games against quality opponents.

Definitely a stretch to say any of these teams have beaten 9 quality teams. Some of those quality teams lose to those "garbage opponents" you bring up.
