LP, I agree with you on the firearms issue for the most part, but what about our troops?

What about our troops? Every news channel you watch, even the liberal mainstream media ones, all admit that 85% of the military will be voting for Bush. They know they have a job to do, and they know from being there on the ground who the right person for the job is to win this war on terror.

Well, of course most of these kids in the military come from Republican backgrounds, and most of them are going to hold their nose and vote Republican rather than vote for a liberal. Either way right now, they are probably screwed, as they are already over there without adequate equipment.

Most of these kids come from Republican background? Really. That's nice to hear, since some of the ads going on right now are saying that inner city poor kids are the one's fighting for us "do-gooder" Republicans to live in a free nation. Typically, someone from that background is Democrat. BTW - your arguement doesn't really hold water. I grew up in a Democratic house, yet I formed my own opinions once I started to educate myself on these issues. I believe these guys in the military are smart enough to form their own opinions.

Do you disagree with the fact that Kerry votes to cut military spending? Maybe if hadn't done that so many times, our troops would have the proper equipment.

flea - I honestly believe that you are not seeing the forest because of the trees.

Flea is out on his own trying to see what the "other" side looks like. I beleive over time his experiment with the left will let him down. Its ok to challenge the way you think. It helps you to relate to people better.

Well, I remember southpaw saying he could argue both sides. I can do the same thing, but right now I'm very disgruntled with how Bush has handled Iraq. I may vote for Bush just because a few Supreme Court justices are just about up, but I also may vote for Kerry, because if Bush's job was up for evaluation every year, he'd have been fired two years ago.

Im not sure we really have enough information to accurately evaluate the whole Iraq situation. We have to filter a judgement from the information we receive from the media. I beleive there are a lot of facts that we never hear about that could make Bush look a lot better of a leader.
