Well, from out in this area, UK, UC, and Xaiver always seem to be pretty good. I think I'll keep rooting for Pitt though, at least in b-ball. But at this point in the season, I have no clue who will win it all.

Pitt should have a good team, but I think they'll be as good as usual in the regular season and once again tank it in the Sweet 16.

UConn should still be semi-strong.

Notre Dame has great potential, I think their 2-guard (Quinn?) is taking the point and he is a good ball-handler, and the Irish usually have good underneath play.

My pciks for the championship--Vermont vs. Virginia Commonwealth. As Dick Vitale would say, "Gotta love the underdogs bay-bay. . ."

I'm pretty sure Chris Thomas is still the point for the Irish. Quinn can shoot the rock and is good at the two, they should be a tough tandem in the backcourt. Torin Francis is also a pretty solid player in the frontcourt, they should be a good team this year. Maybe my Hoosiers will finally pick things up with the young talent they have, D.J. White should help out Bracey Wright this year in the scoring department and I think Wright will have a huge year. Can't wait for the season to start...

IU has a big match up w/ the huskies from uconn, who will own pitt once again this year, sometime in early december, 'basse. should be a good early season contest. i do expect uconn will come out on top but you never know. HOOSIER DADDY!!!

Haha, nice use of words. I agree I think Uconn will come out on top but being early in the season you never know how teams will play, if both teams play to their potential Uconn will definately win. Hopefully IU can get them on a bad night and play a good game and come out on top.

Don't forget about Pitt and Oklahoma St. They did great last year. Oklahoma St has all its Starters coming back. Pitt has some great seniors this year. Uconn will not be champs again. This year it might be an ACC team. Maybe NC or Wake Forest. Duke will have a good season but i don't know about they play in close games and against a talented team.
