Big Ben is out again this week. It doesn't matter, though. They will win again. After watching the Pats-Colts game last night, how did Pittsburgh lose to that Pats? I know the Colts are a great team this season, but they dominated the Patriots. Are the Colts this good or did the Steelers just have an off game against the Pats?

that was before the patriots realized it's all over. also they lost two important players that game in an already thin team.

How have the Steelers lost at all to the Patriots over the last couple of years? The Steelers and Colts in my opinion have always been a better team then the Patriots but can not manage to beat them. It is clear now that the wall of invinciblity has left the Patriots and I think a lot more teams will realize that they are better too. As for the Colts they are a tough team but the Steelers can definitely beat them.

It's a mental thing with the Steelers vs. the Patriots. Everybody thought they were this superior force. They really aren't, and everybody will go into Gillette Stadium thinking that they can and will beat the Pats. It's such a shame too, now we won't be able to hear about them anymore.

The Colts are having a surprising year. Not on offense, but on defense. Consider this: In 8 games, the Colts have given up 98 points. That's the fewest points in the NFL, and the fewest ppg (about 12.2) in the NFL. They are getting it done everywhere. Will the Steelers beat them? Who knows, somebody probably will. But I think the only game the Colts may lose this year is a fluke loss, say to an overlooked Tennessee team . Either that, or they'll lose the last game or two by putting in all the backups like the Eagles did last year once they clinched home field.

IF they are undefeated going into the last 2 weeks of the year, they won't put in replacements and save thier starters. An undefeated season is by far the most coveted thing in the NFL.
Too bad they won't be undefeated at that point in the year... 2 Monday nights from now they'll have all they can ask for...

True, but it depends on whether or not they consider an undefeated season worthy enough to risk injuring Peyton Manning, Brandone Stokeley, and Marvin Harrison and decreasing their chances of winning the Super Bowl.

the colts are the nfl's anointed team. did you notice that they did some of the same things that steeler players did in their games and no flag was thrown? when reggie wayne caught his t.d. he spotted the db and made eye contact with him and then spiked the ball at his feet. hines ward got a 15 yard penalty for that.

I agree with Ham that Duce should be the starter if healthy. That is what he was brought in for. Bettis should be the short yardage and goaline back and use parker on 3rd down. If a team sees Bettis and Duce then you bring Parker off the bench I feel he has a better chance of ripping off the big runs.
The Colts will not go undefeated! They are now getting to the tough part of their schedule and will prob. lose 2 games over the last 8. Lets remember that they have been considered the "superbowl" team from the AFC for years now. They always seem to choke somewhere along the line. I still don't think they can stop the run or play great defense. To win it all you have to play good defense. Sept and Oct games don't mean much. I will believe in the colts when they start winning big playoff games.

what do you guys think about the Steelers vs. Colts? i know the steelers can stop james but how about their passing d?? do you guys think they can stop mannings passing? look at green bay. pittsburgh gave up like 220 yrds passing. I hope the steelers win against the colts and give them their first loss but i dunno if they'll be able to spot the pass...
