Does anyone know how the Ridge vs. Tyrone scrimmage went?

After seeing CC-McCort in person and then watching a film of the CC-Somerset scrimmage, i have no clue what these cc people are seeing. A confused line, borderline-average linebackers, unsure QBs, and no better than decent RBs is all i've seen from the devils (not to mention the facts that ive seen sloths and molasses move faster than their wideouts & secondary). The only thing that might save them is an above average coaching staff -- and i think it's safe to say that they don't (or ever did) have that. So i'd venture to say that you can turn the LIGHTS OUT on their chances of winning vs the men of troy on friday night. Reed, Harris & the boyz will romp.

Troyboy, don't jump the gun too quickly on the CC J-town game...I think your greatly underestimating CC's overall talent, a team that did more than hold their own against a respectable mccort team. Keep in mind that your hometown boys also have flaws in their game. Observing some of J-towns scrimmages, I would say that they have at best a lackluster man under center, a front seven that has something to prove, and with the exception of AReed and Willy Harris, their overall skill position "speed" that they are notorious for has regressed from previous years. With that said, I think the game will be closer than you think. In essence, The trojan horse that your team is bringing friday night has only 1 attacker inside: Antwuan Reed...no suprise CC knows this along with everyone else and their "above average coaching", as you call them, will defend city walls and prepare the devils for a battle friday night. I'm predicting this one as a classic brawl in the LHAC and the game of the week, should be a fun one to watch!

but from what i heard Johnsotwn is for the most parta one trick pony and a dang good trick at that but still i wouldnt expect to be blowing any team away week 1 let alone CC

Yeah I agree with username totally. Harris has played in the shadow of the more gifted Reed for a while now, but once the games get played he'll get his due dont worry. The kids a player for sure, whether anyone knows it or not.

As for CC, I'd rather have one really good attacker inside than...umm...zero -- kinda like what ive seen from the devils. But at least you got one thing right -- it'll be fun to watch mr. reed run right, left, and up the middle for several TDs vs the devil D. If they couldnt handle somersets QB keeps, it'll be great to see them run around after AReed on his sweeps and reverses. Fun to watch indeed my friend.

And i think McCort is the LHAC front runner, but its by a lot smaller margin than people may think
