UPJ is a very nice branch, and it's a pretty sizable as far as branch campuses go. Unlike PSUA or UPG, it's a DII school. Better athletics, better facilities all around.

And before this topic fades, I feel I should respond to Matt Maisel, who directed a post to me a day or two ago. First of all, I didn't mean to insult you by misspelling your name. I pride myself in being thorough when I post; it was a slip up on my part. If I offended you because I spelled your name wrong, it was certainly unintentional. As you know, we have talked about Channel 6 sports coverage in the past. Whether people on this site believe it or not, Pitt's bowl game victory over Bowling Green was a big deal to Pitt fans. I'll bet MORE Pitt fans watched Channel 6 sports the night of the game than any other night that week. PSU fans would have had actually no reason for increased viewership that night. After all, the Bill O'Brien "interview" lead story was called "late breaking news", so NO ONE would have been waiting up for it in advance. So those waiting up for Pitt's bowl story, had to hear about BO'B having an interview with the Houston Texans after the holidays. Again, this may not seem like a big deal, but it's the principle of the thing. You yourself said, in your WJACTV bio, "I know how passionate people are in this region about their sports teams". If so, Channel 6 should take this into consideration when arranging their sports stories. A potential interview, which supposedly popped up on short notice, should NOT have taken precedence over a long awaited bowl victory by a school that has a branch campus in their town. And finally, in your post to me, if you were referring to your amazing cousin who is the QB at Texas A&M, it's "Manziel", not "Maziel". Hope he is not insulted by the misspelling of his name.

If I had a cousin that acted like "Manziel", I wouldn't claim him anyway. He is going to be a VERY BIG headache for whoever does take him.

Manziel is awesome. ESPN created his ego more so than it probably is.

Almost any college fan would have preferred him to be their QB, Pitt and Penn State certainly would have.

So you didn't watch the game and needed to see the highlights? Or do you just love to hear Matt's voice as you see the best plays? I know this is crazy but they make these devices called dvr's now. They make that 1 minute wait a whole lot less frustrating
