Central junior DE Cam Norris was a sideline guest of Navy this past Saturday as they took on SMU.

Penn State picked up a commit from 4* LB Dylan Rivers on Saturday. Rivers is considered a top 250 recruit and chose PSU over VA Tech, Clemson, UNC, WVU, Arizona and others.

Yeah pretty sure everyone knew this was coming since the season started. Pretty sure the Michigan kicker will do the same. They are both Michigan guys.

Pitt received two commits today....

3* OT Zack Williams from Florida chose Pitt over Louisville, Kentucky, Miami, Memphis and NC State.

3* safety Phil Campbell was committed to Rutgers but has flipped to Pitt. Campbell also had offers from WVU, BC, UConn, Temple, Syracuse and Purdue.

For the 2nd day in a row Pitt receives a flip from Rutgers. 3* OT Justin Morgan also had an offer from Illinois to go with those from Rutgers and Pitt.

Pitt received their top commit for the 2016 class thus far over the weekend. 4* ATH George Hill out of Ohio recently decommitted from Ohio St. and this weekend announced his verbal commitment to Pitt. Hill is currently ranked as the 124th prospect in the country and is being recruited to play DB but could also see time on offense. Hill also had offers from Michigan St., Wisconsin, Ohio St., Nebraska and WVU.

Pitt picked up 2 additional commits over the weekend as well.

3* Florida DB Henry Miller picked Pitt over NC State & Rutgers. Miller had several other offers including Michigan St., UNC, Wisconsin, Miss State, WVU and Temple.

The 3rd commit of the weekend came from JUCO WR Juwann Winfree. Winfree was considered the 12th ranked JUCO WR prospect and chose Pitt over Colorado and East Carolina. This past season Winfree had 55 catches for 837 yards and 7 TDs at Coffeyville CC.

7 of the 8 kids that made their official visit two weeks ago committed for Pitt. 3 star DE Nebraska commit Quayshon Alexander is the only one that has not.


Pitt is recruiting above their numbers right now, but I imagine some more kids will transfer/leave early.

Clairton ATH Aaron Mathews committed to PSU today over Pitt and Toledo. Mathews also held offers from Maryland, Minnesota, WVU, BC and several MAC schools. This gives PSU a total of 19 commits including 6 of the top 11 in the state. Hamlin, Valentin and Hudson are the 3 biggest in state recruits that have yet to commit to a school.
