A lot of people on his "crystal ball" flipped Jordan Whitehead to PSU, he's on campus this weekend. Some people are also predicting a commitment from 4 star 2016 QB Jake Zembiec this weekend. Thoughts? Anybody hearing any other news?

I have not heard anything positive regarding Whitehead and Penn State, outside of him potentially visiting this weekend. If I had to guess, I would guess he will go to West Virginia due to his relationship with Shell and Henry. I would guess that Ohio State is next in line. Penn State's only chance is to wow him this weekend.

I forgot, WVU did pick up a four star corner last night. I wonder if that's why the crystal balls flipped. Maybe that played a factor

I only see 1 crystal ball flip and it was on 9/19 prior to the WVU trip. I doubt it means the guy knows anything. Although, he has predicted many of Penn State's commits correctly. He also Crystal Balled Nick Bowers on 9/19 to PSU. If Bowers is paying attention to Pitt's TE involvement at Pitt, he should be looking for an out.

Yeah, I've said that for a while about Pitt's tight end involvement. Plus, Pitt has a lot of good tight ends in the fold, but so does Penn State. Bowers is a good player, one that I believe this board gave Pitt some crap for taking, his recruitment will come down to February.

I'm not a big fan of Penn State using a scholarship on Bowers. I think there are greater positions of need. That said, I think he will eventually sign with Penn State.

Whitehead announces October 4. Pitt is going to see him play this Friday, and he visits Penn State that Saturday.


Honestly I think all four teams are in good positions. It's a close final four.
