Westmont will middle 3rd of the conference. I think they'll be better than Bedford, Richland, Somerset, and CH. Westy, Jotwn, BG, PC middle with BM, FH, BC, and CC in the top third.

How can some of you say bedford will be bad again this year. i know that they had a bad year last year but with the players they have coming back they should be a pretty tough team. losing one d-back in bridges who was alright, henry at line backer who was good but some times tried to make the play by him self which caused some missed tackles, and brouse and shippey on the line who can be replaced. losing henry in th backfield will be the biggest problem but with detwiler, short, and the new running back (probably PJ brett) i think bedford will be just fine in the backfield. and with good recievers coming back and some good lineman i think bedford will definitely be in the top 3 or 4.

Im sorry but bedford was more than "a few missed tackles" from even being competative. This year they will be in the basement of the lhac, or atleast knockin at the first floor door...

i never said a few missed tackles blew their season. i'm saying with all the people returning and the talent that went unused in wes swaims offense (his 10 play playbook) that talent can be very effective this season.

Although many of those kids got playing time they weren't very good, and ontop of that you said it yourself they will be learning a completely different offense. Bedford should still beat heights and maybe somerset and richland, but I'm not gonna put them over PC BG and BC, and definently not up there with BM FH and CC..
If you haven't noticed they haven't had a good qb since Harris and last years wasn't very effective either.

the new offense could actually be good for the bisons because they have been running the same thing sinse the 60's. with the speed bedford will have and talented recievers i can see them being pretty good. and the quarterbacking wasn't the best but swaim tried to switch between two quarterbacks all year and i heard some one say before on espn that when you have 2 quarterbacks you don'thave one becuase neither ever get a real chance to learn and play with their team. but i can see them winnign games next year that people don't think they will

sportsguy - when swaim came to bedford he was criticized for changing bedfords offense (that's been around since the 60's) remember his Rich Rodriquez no huddle offense?. And he was also criticized for having too big of a play book (way more than 10 plays - WVU wannabe playbook, I heard). Not sure what you mean that Bedford needs someone "new" to run the football program. didnt they do that already and it didnt work? it seemed that Bedford had more success with running the "old" offensive schemes than the "new" guy with too many plays.

i don't know what you are talking about...swaim didn't change the offwnse at all, he tried to put some no huddle stuff in but it was still the same plays. bedford needs to have soome shotgun packages to take advantage of their quickness and spread the field out.
