HERITAGE WEEK 4
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 4
Ghost,
Thanks for the clip. We get the Johnstown and a few other PA stations here in Cumberland, so I have seen Ligonier a few times on the Friday night highlights. Looks like they run a wing T which is the Fort Hill base offense as well. There will be big crowd next week. Both teams should be undefeated I would think. Ligonier Homecoming. That makes for a nice atmosphere.

LV had one really big tackle like 6-5ish 270-280 everyone else was fairly big, not huge. My guess a bunch of kids in that 220-250 range.

I remember back in like 1995 we played Beall, MD (part of Mountain Ridge High now) and they brought like 8 busloads of fans with them. We got destroyed if I remember correctly. LOL

It's known here that LV only has the bleachers on the one side so that may keep the FH crowd down some. All the FH games are broadcast on the radio and the home games are televised on tape delay. I would still think a crowd of 400-500 is possible from Cumberland if the weather is decent.

I think it's about 70 miles from Cumberland.
