Saegertown High School graduates the night of the playoff games @NA. Also, Saegertown softball is playing Chartiers-Valley in the Class "A" bracket. A request was made by Saegertown to keep both baseball and softball teams close together and to play the games early enough so that both teams could return in time for the 7:00 PM graduation.

Thursday Scores

North Star 2, Saegertown 0
Bishop McCort 9, OLSH 8
Pine Grove 9, Philipsburg-Osceola 0 after 2 innings. Currently in a rain delay.

Any word on the Altoona/Mount Lebo game?

Thanks Panther that makes sense. Without that explanation I couldn't believe the PIAA would do that to them and NS. Go cougars keep making District V proud.

Well Pittsburgh papers ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt to the WPIAL team.

"Rain delay affects Mt. Lebanon in quarterfinal loss"

So a 3-3 game after 3 innings, only affected the team that lost? If Mt Lebo would've won they wouldn't have been affected by this? They lost, thats it. No need to credit the rain with the win.
