You can't claim Somerset had to deal with injuries, and ignore Ryan Fyock missed half the season. It goes both ways. Persoanlly, I feel Fyock is better than Close, and Wade Walker is better than Barron. I view Somerset as the LHAC's #6 at full health, and I think Shade is better. Now if Shade replaced Bedford in section II. That's eight games with McCort, Johnstown,Somerset and Richland. Without Fyock, they would have had trouble, but with him...they would have done fine. IMO.

Shanksville couldn't beat Bishop Carroll. Seen both play.

Agree with carom, to be such a small school in a rural area it's pretty impressive to be ranked in the state or be honorable mention. Some of these A schools such as Hyndman and Shanksville only have between 20-30 kids in a grade counting boys and girls.

sppawnfan, you are wacked! I've seen them all play. Shade would beat somerset 8/10 times. CT would beat somerset 6/10 times. Somerset can't get out of their own way let alone the district. AAA playing AAs and As all season. Their RPI must be out of this world.

Come on you are talking playing salisbury, turkeyfoot, north star etccc vs j-town, carroll, mccort etc every nite. Big difference. And you through out two players for both teams. They don't have anyone that compares to barnes, and flyte, helsley and about 5 guys on that bench are better than shades 4th 5th guy. I will give you walker and fyock vs barron and close, but dude go watch somerset when they play these west pac teams and you see what they have in talent and strength vs west pac players. No comparison. Shade struggles with shanksville, berlin, and ct. Those teams don't compare to top lhc teams. Shade would be competitive, but without fyock they wouldn't have a chance vs lhc teams. You can have your opinion on somerset and I have mine. Somerset has two freshman that would rip the west pac up.

Someone needs to replace Bedford in the LHAC, because they are horrible.

You are wacked! I saw somerset pound shanksville who is a top team in the west pac. Look it up pal!! And I saw ct vs somerset yesterday scrimmage. Ask drew shubik who was the top hoops player around here. He saw it with his eyes. I agree that somerset isn't great, but they definitely have more talent than the west pac teams. Proof is in the games that were played.

Of somerset's 14 wins, 4 teams had winning records. That's so good stuff. Look it up pal.

I am not going to argue with a north star guy. Have your opinion and that is fine by me. I never said somerset was great, I said they would destroy the west pac teams like they did with shanksville and ct when they played. I know they would beat north star! Even if somerset only beat 4 teams with winning records, the other teams are better than the salisbury, turkeyfoots and the north stars. Besides shade and shanksville, the west pac was pretty weak. Ct was good also. And like I said somerset pounded shanksville. That is a top team in the west pac that shade and ct and all others had trouble beating this year. Wasn't even a game when shanksville played somerset. Complete mismatches and butt whipping from start to finish.
