Johnstown will lose by 14 minimum to BG. Johnstown does not have a line at all and BG will just pound them. Somerset will beat BG 45-14. You heard it hear first.

i like your confidence in the Eagles Manfred! haha. now konjo, i could maybe see blairsville giving BG a game but thats about it. have you even seen this team play? they are very impressive. i wont even comment on portage because they will be lucky if BG lets them carry their water bottles. Nobody in d6 A stands a chance. BG could probably win AA and AAA also. this team is the real deal. its going to take alot more than "big heads" for this team to lose before states in the playoffs. 2-3 games though? thats kinda asinine.

BG had Altoona's number in 7 on 7...and did you know that today I had Northern Bedford beating Florida State on my Playstation and Blacklick Valley pounding the Phila Eagles on my Wii???!

Question: What do you really think would happen in REAL football with Givens in the open field or off the edge blindsiding Chadbourne? Or with Eli Mencer who has 1100 yards in 8 games in WPIAL AAAA, in the wildcat breaking into the open field? Or Altoona's DL physically beating the snot out of BG? Or Altoona's OL pushing BG's DL backwards like they were on roller skates?

Any other thoughts about 7on7 touch football?

Somerset will be lucky to beat penn cambria away this week if they play like they did vs cambria heights. Somerset had 2 td passes called back and a 70 yarder dropped right in the wrs hands and various penalties. Sure somerset had barnes playing hurt where they wouldn't run him and ch keyed on heiple and mostoller got injured and van litten, slayback, and coyle in street clothes, But that was a terrible game they played. Sounds stupid to say, but if you were there, You would know what I mean. They were flat and the crowd wasn't into it, and not a big turn out. I see pc having a shot this week vs a banged up somerset team. It will be a close game!

Penn Cambria on a grass field in week nine before the playoffs and the big LHAC Championship game could be considered a trap. I think Somerset will be fine but I've seen good teams through the years go play Penn Cambria and Central Cambria late in the year on a muddy field and the score being closer than they should be. On paper. Somerset should be fine. But they can't take it lightly.

Bg is basically a two man offense. Chadbourne and mccolosky They are good for around here, but with two guys being over 85% of your offense, good teams will make others beat you. They do it mostly running the ball too, which makes it even easier to stop the offense. jmo! Here and there, they pass a ball to gormely, but they even put chadborne at wr and rb and use him to death. Same for mccolosky. And I agree, who on there schedule was a test for them???

I agree with u on that assessment, but somerset is banged up also. They won big vs ch, but ch was one of the only defenses stopping somerset on 4 downs and it was more than once. I give ch credit, they were tough and played with a lot of heart being on the road and vs somerset. It was 12-0 after 1st and somerset missed 1 x-pt and a 2pt conversion run. It was 18-0 with about 1 minute to half and somerset scored quick before the half to go up 25-0. Then they blocked a punt and beeman ran it back for another td. It was the closest besides bedford that anyone played them. Somerset missed like 3 x-pts and the kicker wasn't kicking like he was early in the season. It was an all around bad game. I even thought ch moved the ball and had some decent runs, and had good line play. They didn't look like the record shows.

BG is no different from any good class A team. At that level of football you need two studs like that. Watch North Catholic, it's the PJ Fulmore show, Clairton same thing with LaMont Wade.

Most good teams like that have your go to guys, and a few guys like Gormley and Kitt and even the younger Chadbourn that can make a play when called upon. Every game they've played in this year McCloskey and Chadbourn have been the two best players on the field, why not use them if you have them.

Saying that chadbourne would be the only one on altoona getting playing time is ridiculous. Andrew Berger would not only be the best lineman on Altoona, he'd be one of the better guys in the conference. Kitt is a very good LB and would be their starting backer. Gormley is a good TE who would start. Mccloskey is as good as mencer and even if men er would get the carries he would be a slot receiver. And chadbourn would be the starting QB. The qb for altoona(not sure on his name) is not even comparable to chadbourne. Givens is a remarkable talent but he is lazy as anything. His size would pose a big problem but can only line up on one side of the football field

Not going say who would win but BG could definitely stick with Altoona

BG would not be able to stick with altoona. BG won't be able to stick with somerset. And you compared BG's confidence with Blairsville and portage? BG players, including Chadbourne, kitt and mcclusky are acting like they are going to be handed a top 4 appearance. Most of that team is. Blairsville portage and every other d6A team knows they have hard work ahead of them. BG is a 2 man offense and a good defense in D6 can easily stop them.... Not to mention mother nature did a number on them last year!

Whats going to happen if it rains or snows in D6 playoffs? Are BG going to be shutdown easily again?
