I think it actually matters who throws the ball and who is going to catch it if we are including interceptions as a point of emphasis.

Central struggles to move the ball without long throws??? Against PC yes but throughout the season they've been very balanced. They don't have one workhorse back but several guys who can carry the team at any given time. One game earlier this season they had 3 100 yard rushers. I don't think MU, in fact I know, MU has not faced a team as athletic as Central yet this season. MU has some great athletes in the secondary but like the others have said they haven't played a passing team this season. I watched the last 3 MU games last night and must say the run defense is very suspect. SH was getting big chunks up the middle and we all know what Tussey did offensively. Loner is an amazing athlete and has single handedly won games for MU and I give them a ton of credit for beating every team placed in front of them each week thus far. Like some of the others have said I just think Central has the better team makeup and is more battle tested. If the Dragons keep their heads and don't commit stupid penalties and get a turnover or 2 I think they win the game. These kids love being the underdog and feel like they got a title to defend. No matter the outcome I'm looking forward to a great game!!!

Just saying don't underestimate a team that has beaten every team placed in front of them this season.

I won't be surprized to see EITHER team win this game! Wouldn't call it an upset either way.

Although I still see MU winning this game but thats just my opinion from seeing both teams face other teams this year! Facts will happen later this week. :D

I know that everyone won't agree with this, but I think all the pressure has to be on MU. Not only are they undefeated and the #1 seed, but this is "their year". Central won D6 last year and was supposed to take a year off to let their young guys mature. Even though they have been playing well and have exceeded expectations, they have next year and the year after with most of these same kids. Also, not saying MU won't keep their success and build a successful program year after year but with their senior athletes, I have to think they have more to lose.

I think that is where the difference lies. Mt Union has to get it done this year.

Let's talk about elite teams vs MU

BA got shutdown vs MU secondary
Everett got shutdown, who isn't an elite team but did great in the air vs Chestnut ridge
TM did have two good throws vs MU but still had 2ints and a pick six and didn't move the ball threw the air.
MV got shut out vs the secondary also

so let's give info about games, not blowouts were JV played a portion of game

I don't think the concern for MU will be the secondary it will be up front in the run game.
