Re: Pennsylvania Writers Class A All State Team
So you can do anything for free and get a pass for fair criticism? And do you know 100% he isn't making money on his site? Anyone can write things for free for people's "enjoyment" but there is a reason they do it for free and don't get a job while doing it ;) because it isn't worth any money to begin with.

I don't know how much Crimson gets paid for his posts here. I think he's getting screwed, though. I get a flat rate of $20 for each and every one of my insightful posts, and that bounty led to my early retirement.
It ain't over until it's over.

Konjo, I don't know where your "hate" has come from but it is growing old. You are entitled to your opinion obviously but you are beating a dead horse. It is the same response over and over.

Re: Pennsylvania Writers Class A All State Team
Dear Peyton...and Konjo...Do you have ANY idea how the state teams are formed? No, I don't think you do. I'll explain. Newspapers, sportcasters, radio stations and..ready?... WEBSITES get ballots to submit their votes on players that were nominated by those same entities. That's right...the Pitt papers nominate their area players, The mirror nominates altoona area players and so on across the state. Yep. Websites ARE involved. Maybe not all, but a lot are. ...Now, do you think the people from the paper in Somerset actually know about the players from Clarks Summit? How much do you think the good people from the radio networks in the Erie area know about the players in the D11 area? That's right boys, not a whole lot. They call around, IF they have the ambition, and find out from the people who DO know...guys like me and Jim.
As for all those "other" com rankings.....they're done by the same people who do the State Teams. So, while the State teams are very prestigious, remember...they're done by the same people who do those state teams...chew on that before you criticize anyone like Jim or myself.
As for who gets paid for what...what does it matter as long as you enjoy what you're doing? If you ask me you are both just a couple of blowhards who have no idea how things work outside your own little worlds. Very bitter, unappreciative blowhards.
