It's a tough system, but if you aren't in a major conference you don't have the schedule to get in, it's pretty simple.  I think they are a good team, I just don't see where their resume matches up with any of the other top 10 teams.

More wins than Alabama vs top 25. They were undefeated and won their conference division/conference championship. Both things someone didnt do who made the top 4.

Love what UCF did and was rooting for them today but I'm with Crimson. You can't play in a weak conference week after week and expect ur wins to carry the same weight.

I don't think winning the one division of the American is better than finishing in second in the SEC West. That's just where I am on the matter, and the tournament committee seems to agree.

If UCF wants to get in, they better play 3 P5 teams in the non-conference and go 12-0, and pray the teams in your own conference

They also won the american and were undefeated.

And after people see auburn losing to them today what sane FBS top 25 program will schedule them? If you win its just not a power 5 team if you lose well thats it for you

Houston had it right last year, they just didn't deliver. Had they gone 12-0, they may have made it. They beat Oklahoma and Louisville, and the American had multiple ranked teams. That was the year it could have happened.

It should of happened this year point blank.

What happens if Alabama wins tonight and against georgia? Sure they win the CFB playoff but id love to see coaches and the AP stick it to the committe with their polls and award UCF their #1 ranking
