It confuses me after CC was major player in removing BC from LHAC, why would they want to play BC or is it because of a key injury at Bc, that took out on of the few good players that they have that CC views this as an easy win. And for BC, they spent a fortune traveling out of state because CC wanted them out of the conference and now they are going to schedule a game with them? Wouldn't they find anyone else that is similar in size to play an extra game with? Why give CC a chance to play an extra game when they were the ones that put you in your current position.
That being said, the chance to at one more game, can't imagine that any of the kids on either team would pass that up. I know I would have said yes please to having a chance to play one more

If you want an 11th game, simply win that third game and make the playoffs.

Agreed on this. CC had agreed to play earlier in the week then they backed out. CC coaches I believe want to play but the AD is holding it up do to not wanting to lose to hometown rival.

Actually both BC and CC would have needed 5 wins to make the playoffs and possibly 6 depending on how this last week plays out.

Or if you want an 11th game just play an 11th game and don't pay attention to what some nobody hiding behind a screen name on a message board thinks about it. 
It is very common in the Philadelphia area for schools to play their biggest rivalry game the day after Thanksgiving as long as both teams have been eliminated from the playoffs (which I believe they would be in the state finals to still be playing).  I think it is great.  It allows both teams to have a few weeks to get healthy, a lot of alumni are back in the area for the holiday weekend which results in a big gate, and it gives the seniors a final game against one of their biggest rivals with nothing else on the line except pride.

Then why dont they just stop playing the rest of the season after being mathematically eliminated from a playoff chance.

Why not schedule a twelfth or thirteenth game after you get eliminated from the playoffs. Play year round!
