Top Scorers From The Area

Post by fastbreak20 »

A question was asked about "local" players in the State in the Top 25---Travis Eisentrout of Belin HS is currently 11th, with 2824 career points. Only 25 points seperates him from the top 6 or 7. TE is currently a red-shirt at California U.

What a list. Changing subject a little, but I reviewed the list and off the top of my head I can remember seeing at least 35 of those players play in person.

I'll bet Head Roadie can remember seeing a few more than that.

Back to the topic, you can say what ever you want about Nastasi and his record and shooting(positive or negative), but the fact is in his four years as a player in HS the team won close to 90 games. That is impressive.

Way to go voncap.....now you're going to have WPIAL-Titan get on here and say..."55 of those games were against Hyndman, Claysburg and McConnellsburg".....or something to that effect.

AJ Nastasi was a gunner though.......im not questioning his skill, but when i watched him play the ball would go up once he passed the half court line, and yeah, his name sits atop that list, but his placement on that list in no way makes him in the same league as the people he is above on that list.......Bryant, Fordson, Chamberlain, etc.

all in all there are alot of players that couldve scored that many points that have played basketball in D5 and elsewhere, if they shot as much as Nastasi did, they should be ashamed not to be in the top five
