Yes, but two days from now you're still a blubbering idiot who can't look past some KIDS yelling at other KIDS thier age. It happens all over the world, not just in the little slice of heaven that is Bedford County. If you were once a cheerleader, that must mean that you have gone to college and maybe stumbled into a game there perhaps, I'm sure everybody sat there with their feet flat on the floor and did nothing the entire time. God, we MUST be the only people in the world who ever acted like this, HOW INSANE!!!

I was told that the Ridge player that yelled at the Stampede actually yelled "I'll eat any 5 of you outside after the game!"

There's no reason ever for a player to respond to or communicate or interact with opposing spectators. Obviously, it can be dangerous, no matter at what level. We've seen on TV what can happen.

Groups like the stampede might be irritating to opponents and their fans -- but that's basketball, for God's sake. As long as these groups stay in their places and refrain from obscenity, what's the problem?

I've watched too many basketball games in nearly empty gyms with fans sitting on their hands over the years. I love to see organized student fan sections. Yes, there's a certain behavior that out to be followed, and if it's not, the AD's or fire police should come into play. (Unfortunately, some students belong to these groups just to be obnoxious, not to cheer on their teams.).

But a player who responds to insults -- even ugly ones -- is hurting his/her team and obviously not attending to the business on hand: to play hard and focused.

District 5 AA playoffs?????
The D5 website said it has been updated 1-6-05, how then is Bedford 2-1 in the rankings? Is it different than last year?

That record is without 4 Tip Off Tourney and Christmas Tourney games because those games don't count toward D5 points. Also, the Bisons have played 3 games since 1-6-05 and the record should be something like 4-2 without tourney games and 7-3 with them.
