Being the best of the "have nots" could get progressively worse as at least two of the "have nots" are looking elsewhere. Richland is "actively" purusing a football only alignment with the WestPac and I know of one other school looking at all-sport options with the ICC/Tri-Co. Wrestling Conference.

Also...Central was a great football school in the 70's contrary to snatchity's statement that they have never been a good football school.
Several college players, championships, and great teams during a run that actually began late 60's and ran through about '80 or so.

HR could that team looking to move to the ICC be Cambria Heights?

Maybe Central could join the ICC if football and play their old schedules in the other sports. It would be a good fit since they are located right in the middle of ICC country and their enrollments isn't that big anymore.

Central Defense Dominated in the mid 90's. No one wanted to play us because they feared us. Yes we may have taken a step back over the years and yes we have had a losing season the past couple of years but we are coming back as u can see this year with our 4-6 seasons. We are climbing back to the top and the LHAC better be ready over the next couple of years to see the undergog rise up and take over the conference

I know I was scared to visit Central. Hated facing the dominating d. Think we only scored 40 something.

I feel that the move to the LHAC was a good one. It makes it nice because all of your sports compete in the same league. Before we were in the Big 8 in Football and the Mountain League for everything else. When it comes to football i think that we made strides in the right direction this year. As a senior though I do not get to return to make another run at the playoffs. I wish the best of luck to next years team and hope that they does make the playoffs, something that hasn't been done at Central for a while, but I wish that the guys on the team would stop talking themselves up on this site and wait until next year to show everyone what they can do on the field.

Good Luck guys!
