Are you serious with this?

Apparently losing to a team 4 outta 4 times isn't enough proof to some people when considering who the better team is.

You know Vman...sometimes I truly respect your posts...and sometimes I really think you're a little off your rocker.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

2 times Westmont got us good
next time McCort and the refs let it slip away
4th time they beat us but it was close
but referees is always a problem when Westmont is involved

but ill admit Westmont beat us 4 times refs or no refs

In honest opinions i wanna see how people view Westmont.
in last years LHAC section II take out Westmont 05-06 and substitute 06-07 in
Who are the top 3?

I got
1.Johsntown
2.Bishop McCort
3.Westmont 06-06

in all seriouness

I have to agree Opinion. Although BM plays a tough game and really hustles, do you really think the officials had any bearing on that game. Vman is truely biased in his posting. Not agqainst Westy, but once again the target of his usual venom...FH. BTW..I saw B.A. officiated the BM girls game the other night. Do you think Cambria Heights has the same right to complain. Just asking.

Come vman, you're better than that. Please don't blame the officials. If you have seen this crew ref in the past or during the regular season, then you know that they call EVERYTHING! Well on Wednesday, they let both teams get away with a lot. McCort's guards were hand-checking the entire game. The refs didn't start calling it until the Westmont kids started attacking the basket. Then it is hard to ignore a hand check when the dribbler is going by the defender.

Westmont was also fouling when McCort went to the basket.

I hope you are not saying that the officiating was one-sided. Neither team reached the bonus in the first half.

In the second half, McCort reached the bonus first. The fouls finished McCort 16 WH-10 in the second half. That is with McCort fouling at least 5-6 times to send Westmont to the foul line in the last two minutes.

Officiating was a non-factor in that game.

I dont need to watch film, I was there. I have seen many games in my life, and could probably only count a few that were decided by Refs.

BTW..Id say
Johnstown
Westmont
BM

Crimson, check Thursday's newspaper. Westmont shot 23 free throws to McCort's 15. Subtract 8 to 10 of those attempts from Westmont's total and you'll see that the attempts were close to if not even until the last two minutes when McCort had to foul to stop the clock.

Crimson, how does the 1948 Johnstown Catholic team compare to the 1951 Southmont Jaguars team? Comparing years and eras is a real stretch.
