im here to make my triumphant return to Bleacher Coaches.....

Westmont won hurray hurray They won beat McCort for the 4th time yippide skippidie!!!!Well i first have to ask did Adam Watson have a career night or what?averaged about 3.2 a game had closer to 12 or so? But Westmont surprisingly can not handle a man to man defense? 60 some points and quite a few were off foul shots meaning that the boys will be in trouble when they face a team that plays good man to man but can do the one thing McCort doesnt do and that is score.....

But it was a classic game at the Doc Stofko Gymnasium

"Classy Students"
"Classy Parents/alums"
"Classy Coaches and Coaches' Parents"

But dont get me wrong ive got nothing aginst that team(have alot of respect) they beat us 4 times which is an extremly tough task to beat a team 4 times and im positive they will beat Blairsville and win a D-6 title so hats off to the Hilltoppers

Westmont can't handle a man-to-man defense? I thought they attacked it well except for spots in the second and third quarter. They were close to their average of 69 points. Good offensive teams get to the foul line.

As for Watson's 12 points, some people step up big in big games.

McCort played aggressive man-to-man the whole game, however, they were unable to stop most of Westmont's kids off the dribble unless they handchecked them. Westmont also did their fair share of hand checking as well, it seemed the refs let both teams get away with it.

Should be an interesting D6-AA Championship. A new-look Blairsville team with an outstanding player in Ostach and a talented Westmont team that can play both ends of the floor.

I think both teams are very good offensively, I give Westmont the edge defensively.

Early prediction: Westmont by 8.
McCort by 12 in the consolation game.

It seemed as though both teams had a bit of shooting problems...probably due to the nervousness...well except joey stephenson...man cant say enough about that kid...steps up every game...congrats to westmont...

I think everyone needs to give Blairsville a little respect that giving Westmont the game. Keep in mind that Blairsville may not have the crew of stars they had before, but the players on the roster now have just as much potential to win the D6 title. Keep in the mind Bobcats have an excellent set of guards in Manarelli and Fritz that shoot the trey ball well. On the other side of the coin everyone knows you are only as good as your practice. Blairsville wasn't successful merely on talent alone, the time they spent in the gym preparing is responsible for their success. The kids on the roster now were the ones who were playing defense in practice and running an offense against the high caliber players they had the past few years. I think everyone has been quick to write this team off and give them not much of a chance because they have returned to AA action and lost a large amount of talent......the system is still there, the Bobcats are a tough team and I say Blairsville by 10

No way am I writing off Blairsville. They have an excellent program there. Like poison said, they have two excellent guards that can shoot it. Plus Ostach is one of the best players in all of District 6 regardless of class. Their big kid is a very solid role player for them.

I think it will one heck of a championship game.

last time i saw Blairsville was last year so its hard for me to say on this years matchup?

Westmont is 26-0 i know that much and played a better scedule then Bville does? not that much better of a schedule but the LHAC in a down year is still better then the Heritage

When is the game im assuming its a double header with the Lady Hilltoppers and Lady Crushers?

While I am a Blairsville fan and will be rooting for the "Cats", realistically Westmont is 10-12 points better than Blairsville. Stranger things have happened however. Blairsville has to shoot well and Westmont needs to shoot like Pitt did against Georgetown or Georgtown against UConn.
