BM at PM is a great matchup! Both teams are playing very good football right now. Historically, BM has a successful program, and PM has an outstanding program and a significant number of players with playoff experience. PM will have an advantage playing on their home field. The Comets play very well at home, and McCort is not accustomed to playing on grass. McCort's special teams are strong and they have the potential to break a big play or two in that category and win the battle of field position. The PM defense is lights out against the run, but has shown some vulnerability against the pass. McCort does a nice job passing the football and has a standout reciever in Spangler and a nice supporting cast. The Comets have a very potent rushing offense. Ferens is the best all around football player and rushing quarterback in the district (arguably the best this area has ever seen). Bytner is a speedy threat that has really been coming on strong lately, and Henderson can pound the rock. Both teams have great offensive and defensive lines, and the battle up front should be fun to watch. The Comets have committed a number of offensive penalties this season, but this has not been an issue, as they have moved the ball at will against opponents. The PM coaching staff does an excellent job preparing their team for the opponent at hand. I look for the Comets to move the ball on the ground and McCort to move the ball through the air. This game is going to the team that is better prepared and shows up to play Saturday night. My prediction... PM wins 34-22.

BMCHS was a holding penalty against FHPHS away from losing 13-10. Just FYI.

Notre Dame was a pass interference away from losing to Pitt. It doesn't really make me feel any better about it.

Not a whine just a fact. People don't like it when they are presented with truth when they choose to overlook it to make themselves feel better.

Juniata Valley vs BG

Juniata Valley once again dominated the ICC (Other than Bellwood) and only lost one game. JV has the tendancy to lose first round of the playoffs, is this trend going to continue this year when BG goes to Alexandria? Thoughts and Predictions

With jv vs BG it seems like we almost have a Oregon vs bama scenario. great offense vs great defense. I do think jv has enough defense though that they can hold BG to low points and get a 21-14 win.

I know I said JV earlier in the week, but on second thought have switched to my private school brethren. I'm saying 20-7 BG.

ICC has Three 9-1 teams and i dont beleive BG could hang with any of them. BG will never stop JV's Offense....... :D
