I disagree, Richland is very good and will beact the D-10 rep handily again and then face off with Aliquippa in a great battle. I like Richland's use of multiple formations and that will offset Aliquippa's edge in athletes. I still think Aliquippa is stronger, but it won't be by much. Richland actually matches up much better with South Fayette if they make it out of the WPIAL. Mount Pleasant could make it as well, and I think they might be a hard matchup for Richland. But lets be clear, Richland will do very well come playoff time

Central is the one team in D6 that can give them a game. I still think Richland is much better than Tyrone and Ligonier, and Forest Hills. I say Central because if it got to a running match, Central has explosive offensive players that can make it a a shootout. Richland is just tough to defend because they can be a spread passing team, power running team, all with a QB that can run. The question will remain is the line, but it's been so far so good.

I'm not saying that they aren't a good team, all I'm saying is that they have weak competition overall and they should be expected to win in the Laurel Highlands, and its no surprise that they have but when they play a better team from a different conference in the playoffs and can have success there then I'll be impressed

They crushed Tyrone and Hickory last year.

It's refreshing to see a little lack of respect towards Richland, especially from a former McCort player. All the accolades can sometimes lead to complacency, but this might be a nice motivator.

I don't think I said anything disrespectful about Richland? If anything I'm saying that the teams they play (including McCort) aren't that good, and it doesn't take a professional sports analyst to see that

RED55 wrote:And I know people are going to say that I'm only saying this because I played for McCort but Richland has yet to impress me this year, the LHAC as a whole seems to be extremely weak this year and of course a team that has a lot of good players is going to run the table in a weak conference. Even last year they beat everyone by a large margin except for McCort and Bellwood, which were definitely the strongest teams on their schedule. Watch what happens when they play a team in the playoffs that isn't from the Laurel Highlands, that's when you'll see how good they are.
It seems to me you said they were unimpressive this year and last year, and questioned their ability to compete outside of the LHAC. Considering they have beaten you, and your alma mater, the last 2 years, and in the playoffs last year, with a large portion of the same players, beat Tyrone and Hickory pretty handily (both of which are outside the LHAC), yes, you disrespected them as players and ignored the facts regarding their play outside of the LHAC.

Richland is a great team this year and last year and McCort well you can say nothing good about how they are coached! When you have an offense that only scored 1 tounchdown in 4 games there something wrong. Crimson's Ghost said the best qb didn't go out for football, what is the reason. From the rumors that are going on many of upper classmen dislike the coaching staff and don't care about play football for them. Also Crimson's Ghost can you help me out at the end of the Bedford game, McCort put their younger players, who was the qb at the end of the game and what happen to the freshman qb from the summer? Did the coaching staff give up on him?

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you about stats and stuff, I said Richland was a good team and all I'm trying to say is that a GOOD team isn't doing anything special by winning all their games pretty handily in a week conference.... I don't see any disrespect to them in that, just stating facts

And IntheValley, you're exactly right about the players not liking the coaching staff
