Cecere’s size, running ability, arm strength is all excellent for this area. Name one team in the area that he wouldn’t have started at QB for. Whether it is Shade or LV, that would have found other spots for their QB just so they could take advantage of all those things he brings to the table that can’t be taught.

First off I am a fan of Adam. He is talented. But there is no way he would ever play at any of those schools you mentioned for football. Penn State? UCLA? Are you kidding? Just because a school sees his size, stats, and invites him to a game doesnt mean he has been offered. And schools dont just quit recruiting elite talent because they verbal to another school or another sport. They recruit top talent til the very end.  Now is he worthy of one of these awards? Yes. But please lets not get carried away here.

But he’s “just average at best”. Who wouldn’t have put up those stats from local teams? I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there are players who are close to him, I would just want to know who’s better locally or even regionally.
The Tribune Democrat award goes to the player who had the best year, not the best player.  Fyfe had 3677 yards passing and 46 TDs, 1270 yards rushing and 17 TDs, on defense he had 26 tackles with one INT.  His team won the WestPAC and District 5A titles.  I think he is the clear pick for overall player of the year.

Adam had 74 more tackles than he did. So I wonder if that would make him Overall POY and Fyfe Offensive POY. It'll be interesting.

I don't think there's exactly a wrong answer between Cecere, Tutino, and Fyfe.

Trace McSorley wasn’t good enough to play at Penn State either. How many other local kids do you know of getting invites as Freshman/Sophomore? If you make it clear you’re playing a different sport then they will back off. We don’t know how many calls or letters he gets. If he verbals for baseball I think his intentions were clear.

do you really think that if he was that good of a quarterback candidate that schools would not have still recruited him despite his baseball commitment
Can anyone compare to Cecere vs Rummery from Clear field?

I think Cecere was probably an FCS/D2 level QB in college, which is still really good.

Thats a very good analysis.  If Jon Long was a year younger and a Sr. this year, I'd give AC the nod over Fyfe, but w/o him, I say no.  Too many dropped balls this year.
It ain't over until it's over.

Let’s keep it real if he was being recruited they would of pulled the trigger and offered visiting schools doesn’t mean being recruited now next point yes Richland won D6 hats off to them but what happened next round and yes the laurel highlands has been down besides the guilfoyle run who else ??? No for who is better in area can’t say but define region cause if we talking WPIHL or even out east I can give you names so I’m up for a debate so everyone that commmented let’s go
