well the day is almost upon us, districts is tomorrow and i'm sure alot of athletes are nervous and worried, but i just want to wish everyone that runs tomorrow good luck, i dont care if you're a rival or not. tracks about running your guts out and running your hardest, if you beat everyone then great, medals and such are just icing on the cake...all of the smack talking should stop and everyone should realize the fun of the sport, i understand that every team that goes into tomorrow wants to win the districts title...and i dont blame you, i'm going in wanting to win as well, but we can do it without making fun and without saying one is better then the other...have some good sportsmanship cheer each other on and make it a night all the senior runners will remember..and like fleaflicker said if you collapse after the race or during it, no shame you definitely gave it your all, so good luck to everyone once again

Well, I did get a bit riled up about somebody thinking Ridge wasn't a good track team (Gunner18, but I should take some of his stuff with a grain of salt anyways), and in the process of defending us, I came off a bit arrogant and whiney (immature), and I didn't mean to do that. So to anybody I offended or cheesed off, sorry. Best of luck to all the teams (seriously, lol), and I'm looking forward to a great competition tomorrow. Whether you win your event, or finish last, it isn't the place you got so much as the effort you gave. Coach I was telling us before the meet against Bedford (double duals) that if you can look at yourself in the mirror and honestly say that you did the best you could, then it was a success. And I'll throw that out for everybody competing tomorrow night. As long as you put forth your best effort, and can look at yourself in the mirror and not wonder, what if, then you had a successful night, first or last. And if you're tempted not to, it's the last time you run this year, more likely than not (for most of us). Especially if you're a senior. Nothing to lose. "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." I quote that from Steve Prefontaine, an American record holder in distances from 3000 to 10000 meters, and an athlete who died too young, in a car crash at age 24. Good luck everybody.*

it wasnt a complete backfire. one is better than none and most had their PR"s today and you cant ask for much more than that. some days things just dont go your way. A solid second in the district isnt too shaby. so yeah, no need to be an ahole. the rest of your team (that actually runs and competes) was very respectable and showed great sportmanship all night long so no need for you to ruin that. congrats to a good bedford team and good luck to all at states.

Could someone please post the results, places, times of the 6-AA track meet held yesterday?
Also, how many PIAA qualifiers does 6-AA get? 2 or 3?
Thanks!
