Afew things that caught my attention...
1 Cruz is 275lbs???
2 AW/spangler would cover stephenson like a blanket (still allow 1-2 3's, not over 10 points tho) fact
3 Politics is everywhere, even in sports, but for the most part a coach puts the best players in the best situation for the team
4 #7 led mccort last year, led to the win in bedord/tyrone (includin a spike on 3rd n 16  )

09' crazy
1. your real funny saying he didnt start on the freshman team because by previous posts it sounds like he did start on the JV team, not the freshman team
2. You're trying to sound funny, but your really not
last year's team was underachieving. I blame it on not using the team's talent to the fullest. I mean if a Navy coach could get him on the practice field how can he not get on the field for a LH team? Just my take. Another thing, since you have obviously seen the games, should #10 have been the QB in 05?? In my opioion, politics and/or favoritism/nepotism can happen anywhere including Windber, Westmont, and McCort.
Okay let's recap these issues.....
last years' team won @ Bedford in playoffs.....
Bedford had a heck of a team.
Then won @ Tyrone.....if I'm not mistaken Tyrone was #1 seed!
Played in D6 Championship game.... led game...FH late score in 1st half (probably salvaged game for them - key score in my opinion) & a great 2nd half by Rearick...BM loses a close one.....underachieving?? perhaps a tad, probably just a few points....nearly won D6, with several tough AA squads!!
I would never minimize a Naval appointment but a coach would be crazy to turn down any walk on with a great work ethic, strength & speed.
Re the qb debate, several fans echoed similiar sentments but Mike S had a wonderful jr season, worked hard & look how he performed in playoffs; hard to question.

Roman doesn't play the politic game at Westmont. He plays who he thinks will give him the best chance to win basketball games. In fact, Roman tried to move him up to start varsity as a freshman, but the school would not allow him.
Speaking of contradictions!!!!!!!!!!
And again B Kunuch was better than JS & JB????
But good luck to WH & (unless BM pulls upset(s) of decade & advance) I hope they advance far.
