Wow...alot of expectations for Westmont this year. Its good to set your goals high, but to post them on this board is another thing. They will have a strong team, but come on....State Champs in AA. Unless the Bird Flu hits the WPIAL, I wouldnt count on it.

wow bballkid20 just stop now. The State championship is months away there is no reason at all to be talking about that right now. With so many good schools in AA especially from the burgh its hard to get there. Trust me, westmont is not thinking at all about the state championship. Westmont is only focusing on what they should be right now...their game on friday against Oil City.

Thank you WHFan for trying to settle down your troops. I would love to see any team from our area in the State Championship game, but I dont think they have any idea of what the odds are. Just a question, maybe you can answer. Outside of Balog, where is Westy going to get its scoring punch from. I know the one big guy may be worth about 10-15 a game, but are the other guards scorers?

I think mccort girls have the best shot out of any lhac team to go to states

Yeah Westmont has other players besides Balog that can put points on the board. The other guards wont light it up but they will get their points when they need to.

Westmont girls are not as strong as they have been, but dont count them out.
