Everybody (Vman) always touts about cupcake schedules. Here is an actual study to who has the most cupcake games.

One Pennsylvania powerhouse not on the list, one is. I bet it will surprise you which one is.

The Big East is just 5 years removed from the ACC raiding them of three of their teams. The Big East has sinced replaced two, leaving a void in everyones schedule. Pitt has filled that void with a few Division 1-AA schools now known as Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).

Schedules are made years in advance, changes can be difficult to make. Penn State fans need to look no further than their Youngstown State contest. Now that things are settled, Pitt does not have a FCS team on their schedule.

I can't believe this has come up again. That conference realignment happened FIVE YEARS AGO. I'll give you 2 or 3 years because of he void, not 5, buddy. Same garbage arguments like "only game in town" "we don't practice behind st. benedicts" and "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." Give me a break. You had 5 seasons to find replacements. Everyone else finds them in 1 or 2.

Pitt has played a total 4 1-AA teams in the past 4 years. Two of them are a result of the ACC raiding the Big East.

2004 Furman
2005 Youngstown State
2006 The Citadel
2007 Grambling

It took two years to get their scheduling back on track. Pitt actually got it on track sooner, but somebody pulled out of the schedule. I may be wrong on the team, but I believe Pitt had a home and home scheduled with Clemson that Clemson pulled out of which resulted in the Citadel and Grambling games.

In 2009 Pitt plays N C St., ND & Navy
In 2010 Pitt plays Miami, ND & Navy
In 2011 Pitt plays Iowa, ND & Buffalo
In 2012 Pitt plays Va Tech, ND, Cent Fla.
In 2013 Pitt plays Va Tech, North Carolina State, Navy & Notre Dame

And BTW, Oregon St. this yr. replaced Arkansas St.......even Joe, Curley, Larry & Moe realized you could not go back to back yrs playing the worst OOC schedule in the country (as they di in 07)....they would have been laughing stocks w/ Coastal Carolina, Arkansas State, Syracuse & Temple

Keep busting on Penn State's OOC games last year. Buffalo finished with the same record as your beloved Panthers, ND was down but nothing can be done about that, Temple finished only one game worse than your beloved Panthers, and FIU was a cupcake.

This year 2 BCS teams, Temple who is slowly getting better and instate (also Penn State gave Temple a road trip last year), and a cupcake in CC. What do you want?

LSU, Texas, USC, and WVU?

That is impossible because probably none of those would be willing to play Penn State out of conference.

other way around....Penn State wouldnt play them out of confrence....Cause in the whole scheme of things...Penn State gets more money by playing Coastal Carolina then playing USC...well at least thats the excuse for not playing pitt
