Suspended Penn State players return
Tuesday, September 23, 2008
By Ron Musselman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- In a complete travesty and reflective of how friggin out of it Joe is.......Starting defensive end Maurice Evans and starting defensive tackle Abe Koroma have returned from their three-game suspension.

"They practiced yesterday, but I'm not so sure what I'm going to do the rest of the week," coach Joe Paterno said today.......WTF does that mean Joe???You forget your personal plans for the week or you are being so hypocritical that you infer you don't know already if these idiots are going to play,,,YOU'VE ALREADY MADE YOUR DECISION YOU PHONY!!

Evans and Koroma both were charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana last week, and their preliminary hearings on the misdemeanor charges has been set for Oct. 22...Remember these morons were @ their apt. @ 9:00 when the police showed up....with fair warning they stayed & when police returned @ 11:00 dumb & dumber were still there and there was pot in the apt. ?????

Evans and Koroma both are expected to dress for Saturday's game against Illinois, but neither player is expected to start. Oh no not that...they aren't starting....how abusive & inhumane!!! Please don't telll me they may have to pick up liter after the game ...not that Joe

In other news, Paterno said he expects to coach from the sideline against the Illini. A sore right leg forced him to watch the second half of last week's win over Temple from the press box. who gives a F... sorry but this is a joke....yea UPS has been unfairly focused upon targeted by espn's OTL...they've had half their roster in lineups the last couple yrs...and these kids are going to play in the first big 10 game of season!!! Joe should be fired NOW if any one up there had any scruples or balls!!

This is so wrong, on so many levels. But you had to admit you saw this coming. I called this 3 weeks ago when they were initially suspended. Just one more reason that the old @$$ needs to retire or be forcefully retired following the season.

Lets put in context what they were charged with. I personally think a 3 week suspension is fair for the crime.

Wow, I like to see that side of you, ham. I know when LaMarr Houston got suspended 1 game for a DUI at Texas I was thinking what? That's it? Sometimes winning is more important than punishment, which is disappointing.

What has Abe Koroma or Maurice Evans done previously for them to warrant team dismissal? They had 1 gram of weed, not even enough to sell. They sat out 1/4 of the season. What should they have gotten?

But I agree w/ Ham completely. We all knew they'd be back this week.

Only 1 gram of weed......not even enough to sell......now that is a good thing for young kids to hear!! What message are you sending to kids?? Its okay to be in possession of weed, no matter how much you have. And if you do get caught a coaching legend/ icon thinks a slap on the wrist is discipline and "doing it the right way". Please! 1 gram or 1/2 gram, it is illigal and that is not a good message for todays young student athletes!

A slap on a wrist is them not starting against Oregon State. They sat 3 games, Shocker, and neither of them have prior troubles. They haven't even been to court yet. I guess you think its right to kick them off the team for that. They kicked Austin Scott off the team for rape when it ended up coming out that he didn't even do it.

I assume you have no children TAE. If you did then I would love to hear your talk with "little enemy". Gee son it was only 1 gram. It is okay for you to represent your school and have your education paid for and be in possession of an illegal substance".
Its illegal! Suspend them while the legal system works it out. They should NEVER had put themselves in that situation.
