Week 5 ICC
Week 5 ICC
Bellwood (3-1) @ So. Huntingdon (3-1)
Match up of two upper tier teams in ICC. Southern got into the meat of their schedule last week and got stomped by MU. I could see the Rockets easily ending up with 3 or 4 losses. They travel Everett and NB and host Tussey and MV, none of which will be cake walks for SH. Bellwood should take care of business in this one as long as they aren’t looking ahead to next weeks ICC North championship game against Mo Valley. BA 35 SH 14
Mt Union (3-1) @ Juniata Valley (1-3)
MU takes on two 1-AA games at JV and Williamsburg, then a showdown for the ICC South at home against Everett. MU 42 JV 13
Claysburg (2-2) @ NBC (2-2)
Both teams are coming of divisional wins against bottom tier teams and are looking to move above 500. The Panthers looked impressive in all aspects of the game at Williamsburg, while the Bulldogs won a game against a fairly evenly matched JV team. Winner will finish the season above 500, loser won't. If NB is going to make a push for the playoffs it has to start here. When Knott runs wild CK wins, when he gets shut down they lose, that simple. NB wins at home 20-16
Tussey Mt. (1-3) @ Mo Valley (4-0)
MV won't have much trouble here, especially at home. Mo hasn't been getting much love in the 6-A picture but this team is solid all around. Good running game, nice passing game, athletes at receiver, pretty nice sized line, speed on D. With a win next week they have a great chance to go 9-0 and get a real nice seed in the playoffs. I'm calling it right now, next week, MV wins at Bellwood. No problem for MV here 36-8.
West Branch (0-4) @ Everett (3-1)
Everett keeps rolling, 28-0
Williamsburg (0-4) @ Glendale (1-3)
Game of the Week, not really. All joking aside, Glendale could start a nice run here with a dub. They have some winnable games ahead (JV, CK, TM). Only problem is all 3 are on the road. Glendale 20 Williamsburg 0
